Do You Want To Do A Good Interview? You Need Pay Attention On Those Things
An interview is a conversation
where questions asked by the interviewer and then the interviewee give the
answer.
When you
want to write a news or article, you need some precise information to make your
news are article more real and can be trusted by the reader. Usually, people
believe something by the real evidences from something that have we made for
our news or article. So, we need to interview people who know and relate to
that.
Certainly,
you want the interview that you do is fluent as long as you hope. When you
interview someone, there are some points that have you know. In this case, I add
a video in this article. You can see how an interviewer interviews someone in a
good and polite way. There is also what should some consider in doing an
interview. I choose a video from YouTube which produced by www.creativecreations.tv with link https://youtu.be/KPXOKZQzp-g .
In this
video, there are seven steps to interview people. They are:
(1). Ask for a chat rather than an interview
Ask for a chat rather than an interview people by asking if you
are filming at an event approach people by asking them if they would like to
have a chat. Don’t ask for an interview. You might scare them off. Also don’t
be shy and just interrupt them with a smile.
(2). Prepare the interviewee
Prepare the interviewee by telling them what you are
interviewing them for. Also let them know that you may repeat some questions
differently to help generate a different response or different your worded
answer
(3). Ask their name, company, and position
Before starting the interview and with the camera rolling,
ask them for their full name and company business or position. This will help
during the editing process if you need to identify the interviewee. It also
acts as an icebreaker an easy question to get them settled in
(4). Stand close and side by side
Stand side onto the interviewees, shoulder to shoulder and
as close as possible with both of you facing towards the camera. This gives a
much more open feel.
(5). be aware of the microphone position
Hold the microphone close to the interviewee and just below
their chin you want to make sure that they are heard without blocking their
face.
(6). Identify when you’re not getting the content or answers
you need
Identify when interviewees are not answering your questions
or are providing unnecessary information for the purpose of the video. Don’t be
afraid to interrupt ask a different question or move on to someone else.
(7). Know when to move onto the next person
If the interviewee does not seem engaged or looks
uncomfortable being interviewed, then cut the interview short and move onto
someone else.
You have a very informative esource. Well done.
