Heavy Rain Caused Flooding In The Building.

 


Padang-- The heavy rain that was happen on Monday (21/08) caused flood as tall as an adult's ankle in D.1.1 until D.1.5 lecture building in Andalas University. One of the student (Jihan [19]), who is want to pass the place feel disturbed enough because she have to open her shoes before pass the place.
" My feelings are indifferent, but a bit difficult to walk on. I must open my shoes at first, so that my shoes don't get wet. Because the flood was deep enough" Jihan said.
when she was asked about the cause of the flood, Jihan said that it caused by the natural factors and also it caused by the lower building position from the other building make the water flowing from the top to the bottom. in addition the water drain have been full of the water.
" I think the flood caused by the heavy rain, so the water from the top fall down to the bottom and then the water drain also have full of the water. So, it is cause of the flood." she add.
The heavy rain that lasted from 11 am was indeed heavy. The flood receded at around 1 pm. Until afternoon, the rain was flushed Limau Manis area with moderate intensity.
