Where This Water Come From?


              
  


  Padang (11/8) – the heavy rain flushed Padang city on Saturday (9/8) caused some area and roads in Padang city submerged by flood. A citizen, Sonia (19) who is live in Limau Manis Koto Padang exactly in UNAND gate was surprised by changed front of her house rent being a small pool. She doesn’t know why the front of her house rent being like that. That day was heavy rain which is started from 11 am until early days. Just for a few hours later, front of the house has submerged by water.


She said “the rain was flush at 11 am and at 2.30 pm the water has submerged front of our house rent. At first, I don’t believe my friend when she tells me that our house rent was flooding. But when I looked at out of the house, it is true. The water has been flowing and flooding front of our house rent.”
                


 Limau Manis area indeed have a high rainfall, so we are not surprise when this area always rainy. Even the rain was flush in a full day or more than one day with the different intensity. When confirmed is the area of Sonia’s living always flooding when the rainy season is coming or not, the answer that she gave is she not sure because she just moved to the house rent for a few months ago.
 
“I am not really sure about it because I just moved to the house rent in this area about last May. So I am not really known. But a few months ago, we moved here and the heavy rain has been done and it was never be like this. Therefore I am really surprised why the flood occurs” She said.
               
Flood as tall as adult’s ankles do not have a victim as well material loss. The flood made panic and inhibit the activity of the owners from the house rent. Hey must move their goods on the table or to the high place because they worry the water in their house.
 
“Of course it makes us worried. How if the water come in to he house? It will be a difficult problem. So we move our goods on the table for prepare.” She adds.
